What an Exciting last two years! We have seen the Foreclosure market literally explode… and it's not over yet – We are going to see things get worse, or better depending on who you are and which side of the foreclosure action you are on. There is some debate about what caused the implosion of the mortgage industry, but regardless of who's fault it is, there are a lot of people facing foreclosure! More than a year ago the majority of foreclosures being filed were in the sub-prime market – those people with poor credit who qualified for their mortgage only because underwriting guidelines were relaxed. Compound all of these problems now with indications that we are in a recession.
